Jewel Box

PROJECT DETAILS

The client lives in a high-pressure world and wanted her home to feel like the opposite. Glamorous, yes, but most importantly, grounding. Ergo, her request: a rich, moody jewel box retreat.

In the primary bedroom, applied molding adds depth while color drenching creates a cocoon-like effect. To make the space truly work, we reconfigured the layout—removing a wall between a spare bedroom and the original primary to create a full suite. The former bath became a walk-in closet designed to hold all her gowns and shoes.

The bathroom leans classic, but with presence. Polished marble in varying scales brings dimension to an otherwise all-white palette, delivering on the client’s love of glam without tipping into excess. A generous shower nods to the couple’s favorite luxury travels, while a deep soaking tub anchors the room—practical, beautiful, and meant to be lingered in. Chrome fixtures and traditional details keep it timeless.

The result is a space that feels both high-impact and deeply personal—a true escape at the end of a long day.
