'70s Remodel
PROJECT DETAILSThis home is deeply personal. Curated over time, shaped by a love of travel, art, music, and family. Think minimal, with a maximalist edge.
The backdrop stays neutral, allowing everything else to come forward. Texture is layered in quietly, while the layout does the heavy lifting. Walls came down to create an open living space that better suits a family of four. The kitchen was taken to the studs, and new solid hardwood floors run throughout—built to handle real life.
One of the more unexpected moves: removing the pantry in favor of a dedicated coffee bar. Wrapped in marble with a full-height backsplash, it’s less about storage and more about ritual. Morning coffee, evening wine—it all happens here.
It’s a home that feels lived in from the start. Turn on some jazz, pour a drink, and it all makes sense.
